What we do
We believe that you are the expert in your condition; whatever the physical symptom, we are prepared to meet you where you are at in your journey.
Think of your physiotherapist as your health and well being coach. We use our physiotherapy education, evidence based research, skills and a compassionate ear to perform an assessment. By listening to patient concerns and analyzing the assessment findings we can develop an individual holistic treatment plan. The treatment involves education and exercise among other therapy techniques. The education and exercise requires coaching and is what we feel is the most important part of getting patients back to their level of optimal health and well- being. Education and exercise empowers patients to be directly involved and responsible for their recovery. Through empowerment, patient’s feel more in control of their ability to manage their injury and symptoms as they work towards optimal health and well being.
How we do it
In order for us to provide you with expert knowledge we must first provide you with ample time and attention. To make this a priority we book initial appointments for 1- 1.5 hours (depending on the complexity of your journey). We only book 1 appointment per session, so you will be our only focus during your appointment time.
